Debby Lee is no different and her passion for her specialist filmmaking is deeply embedded in her roots in music, entertainment and the arts.

 

Debby has worked for over 30 years in the arts and entertainment industries. She started her career in music as a pioneering figure in the EDM arena, as the founder of Supeclubs BANG! @The London Astoria, G-A-Y, Bagley's Warehouse and Pacha London.    

 

It was a natural progression for Debby to extend her live production experience into experiential marketing and ad-funded programming.  In this sector, she has delivered global campaigns for market-leading creative agencies across all video media, working with leading brand clients, major cultural institutions, arts organisations, major labels, iconic venues/heritage sites and famous talent.   

 

Debby helped ITV to produce immersive industry events launching Downton Abbey, Coronation Street’s 50th, The Only Way is Essex, Demons, Law and Order and Whitechapel.

 

Evolving from the world of branded entertainment, Debby has gone on to gain a reputation as a celebrated executive producer and writer of documentaries, event TV and scripted biopics.  Known for her authentic and powerful storytelling and the high quality of her productions she attracts exciting high-profile star talent to work with her on and off-screen.

 

Debby continues to collaborate for leading specialist production companies and media groups including Banijay, Argonon, CC Lab, Sony, Cultureshock Media, MOBO Films, Universal Music Group/Mercury Studios, Woodcut Media and Submarine Entertainment.  Debby also operates her own boutique production company DEBONAIR.

Debby is a champion of diversity and works closely with Kanya King CBE (MOBO) to help inspire more inclusion across the creative industry landscape. 

 

Her latest venture is working with leading West End/Broadway producers to consult on bringing the life stories of famous music talent to the stage and create immersive live experiences.
